Eve was born in London England the daughter of the actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. Jack and George are her brothers. They grew up in and the United Kingdom as well as Los Angeles. She went to Bedales School and then took her A-levels at Westminster School in London. She completed her studies in English at St Catherine's College Oxford during the year of gap. It was Oxford for the student productions which included An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers as well as The Colour of Justice. Eve played a prominent role in BBC dramas like The Rotters Club Poirot & Hawking as well as the 2004 film Stage Beauty. The actress was born into an ethnically diverse family with and Indo British father Anthony Mitra of British descent as well as an Irish-born Irish mom Nora Downey. The English actress has a middle age child. She is the older sister of Jason Mitra and a younger brother named Guyan Mitra. The younger brother is a travel writer who has been published on Lonely Planet, The Sunday Times and other publications.
